Week 2: Pride and Prejudice, the novel written by Jane Austen

The novel Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen was a very interesting, fun read. In connection to the novel and film I found it very nice to see how everything came to life. What I think really highlights this novel is the characters. It is interesting to see how certain characters react and in getting to know them more. Such as the two main characters, Darcy and Elizabeth. It was nice to see how through all their struggles in the end they were able to come back in relationship.What I found also engaging is getting to know how marriages and relationships were like in this day in age.

Week 11: Long Form Television

For this week's assignment, I chose A Series of Unfortunate Events. This series is about the Baudelaire children and distant relative of whom they have to stay with due to an incident with the children's parents. With Olaf set to claim the family fortune for himself, the Baudelaire children determine to uncover the mystery behind a secret society from their parents past. With this of media. I've discovered that this experience can be different for everyone. I found personally to better experience a series of shows not watched all at once. I found that is better to take in the series bit by bit. With long form television it is nice to be able to get to know the characters in the series over time. But again the experience can be different for everyone.
